This is a small but not to be missed italian kitchen in Cranston RI. I was there for a conference and joined some others to eat. The reccommendation came from a local.
The portions were ample, the service friendly and very helpful. The main course food was delicious, well prepared, served beautifully. The salads were fresh. The pasta sauce, alas, was ordinary without any nose, or special flavor; however let that not detract from the entre tastes and presentations. A steak with portabella mushroom and peppers, salmon encrusted with pistachio, stuffed chicken breasts and lasagna were the entres. The coffee was fresh.
The place is intimate but requires some contortion to enter because of the door placements. Parking is at a premium, but free. Even the Google directions don't make it easy to find. (we corrected that).
Try the restaurant. Its not black tie but tasty. Prices are medium with prices in the 14-19$ range. Meals come soup or salad, entree and 2 vegetable (depending on the entree). We were too full to comfortably do dessert but I would return, definitely.
