Well, it was cheap and available. I'll give them that much.
I couldn't really figure out what was going on here...new management? Bad management? It was sort of a harbinger of things to come when we couldn't get the door to the room to open. It didn't improve much from there. There room appeared to be clean but the furnishings were used. Used really hard. The room was a semi-suite with a sitting area attached to the bedroom. The sitting area had one love seat and a tv. Nothing on the walls. It was Spartan. The bedroom was better except that the people on the second floor apparently were taking merengue lessons. All night. Thuds and footfalls and dropped items and moving furniture until well past 3am. Breakfast, which was included, was horrible. It was served in a meeting room. No ambiance, noisy, bad food. Not a winning combination.
