The Breezeway Resort is a great place for a vacation. They have the best service friendliest staff and complimentary breakfast yum! We have been going to the resort for 2yrs and plan on going every year. The resort is clean has a great pool awesome grounds and steps from their private beach. We just love it there and the kids love it even more. If you are going to stay in Misquamicut this is the only place to stay!

Stayed in August with 4 of us 3 adults 1 child. Room was very clean and nicely decorated. Place is a bit pricey for a motel lots of extra ridiculous charges but not much of a choice in the area. It's nice location and I like that you have beach access but to charge for an extra car space is a bit ridiculous not to mention per person.

We appreciate you taking the time to review The Breezeway and for staying with us recently. We pride ourselves on the cleanliness and quality of our facilities and were glad you noticed.

Our prices are outlined on our website and at check in. Nightly rates on our guestrooms are based on double occupancy. Some of our larger suites, villas and cottage nightly charges are based on 4 - 6 guests. We do charge extra for additional overnight guests as well as day visitors.. Parking is limited both at the resort and our private beach. Guests are allowed 1 parking space for guestrooms and 2 for our 2 bedroom suites, villas and cottage. We have very few extra parking spaces once we are at capacity during the peak season. We realize we are typically more expensive than other alternatives in the area. In order to maintain the standards we have set and to continue to operate at this level, we have set our prices accordingly.

Thank you once again for staying with us.

My husband and I were pleasantly surprised by how warm and accommodating the Breezeway Resort was. We had their only wheelchair accessible room. The accessible parking was just outside the door. The room has a big king bed. It was too high for me, so the staff took the bed off the frame in minutes of asking. The bathroom is huge and has a big wheel-in shower. It also has a small refrigerator. Traveler's tip - If you don't have a shower chair, bring a large plastic shower curtain. You can cover your own wheelchair to protect it from getting wet. Be sure to dump the water that accumulates in the seat before you get out of the shower. The Breezeway also has a lift for the pool. It can be used alone, but safer if two people are there to help you. The seat can tip if you aren't careful. The resort serves free breakfast in a main room. The ramp into the room is a bit steep, but help is always nearby. There is not a restaurant on the site, but if you aren't in the mood for going out you can get food delivered. The resort also has a beach just a few blocks down the street, but if you need a more accessible beach try the state beach next door. The rangers will help you into a beach wheelchair and keep yours safe while you enjoy the sand. Overall we had a wonderful time.

Room Tip: You can get a room or a small house. Some rooms have little kitchens. Upstairs rooms may be more private and quieter.

We're so glad you found The Breezeway accessible, warm and friendly. Your comments are especially appreciated as we just completely renovated unit 112 to accommodate guests in wheelchairs. (I believe we are the only property in Misquamicut with wheelchair accessible guestrooms and with a pool lift). As you indicated we do serve continental breakfast at the resort but unfortunately our full service restaurant (Maria's) was closed due to a recent hurricane. We plan to be back in business by May of 2015.

Thanks for the positive comments and we hope to see you back again soon.

Our second trip there for the last part of the July 4 long weekend. Lovely all around. Grounds are beautiful. We especially like eating the complimentary breakfast outdoors and we enjoy the free bike rentals. We'll be back.

We have been coming to The Breezeway now off and on since the late 1980s. It's been 5 years since our last stay. The staff is awesome, they take great pride in ownership, the property is well maintained. Our room was very clean, I noticed some updates since our last stay, new paint on walls, new refrigerator, and other subtle small changes. The bath rooms in our section are on the small side, not much room to put a change of clothes, and there is a basket under the sink to store all your toiletries. The one thing I would suggest is that you may want to bring a rubber bath mat, because I was sliding all over the tub while showering. So to conclude, The Breezeway is a great family vacation spot, they have a outdoor heated pool, and a extensive continental breakfast, free beach parking, along with a wide choice of room options. I definitely recommend staying at The Breezeway to anyone who vacations in Misquamicut.

Welcome back after a brief hiatus. There is nothing more rewarding for us than to see familiar faces return year after year. It's even more rewarding when we see guests we remember from the 80's or even the 70's. Thanks for your comments and for returning. If ever you need anything while guests of the Breezeway (like a bathmat or anything), just let us know and we will make it happen. Have a great summer and we hope to see you next year.
