Blueberry Cove Inn
Ranked #6 of 10 Narragansett B&B and Inns
Reviewed 19 July 2014 via mobile

The Inn was a delight, Victorian bedroom, comfy and private, yummy blueberry pancakes , charming neighborhood for evening strolls, coolish nights, and 3 blocks to Ocean. A great value. The great thing about a B &B, you can choose to engage the other guests and Innkeeper or not, very user friendly, very cozy, very New England. Suggest it for "Leaf peeping" this Fall!

The writer is so right about the location: even if you don't stay with us the Pier neighborhood is a delight. It sounds like we hit the right balance for this guest which means we are doing something right. Book early, book often, we would love to have you visit.

This was our first time staying at a B&B, and it was fantastic. From the moment we arrived, to even after we left Seely, the proprietor made us feel at home. We stayed in the Meadow Room, on the 2nd floor, the room was a very nice size, with a small couch and a king size bed. The bed was very comfortable, and the linens were soft. The room had an air conditioner and ceiling fan which kept the room cool all day, a flat screen TV, and a DVD/VCR combo.

The Inn itself is very cute, fits right in with the town of Narragansett. The front porch is inviting, and was a great place to enjoy a cool drink before walking into town for the evening.

Breakfast was wonderful! Seely is a great cook, and made us 3 wonderful breakfasts. My favorite was the Coconut French toast. It was out of this world! I would recommend this B&B to all of my family and friends. If we venture back to Narragansett, I know where we'll be staying.

I love getting new guests hooked on the concept of B&Bs as a better way to stay. Sure hotels and motels are fine sometimes but they will never be as unique as a B&B. Enjoy your travels and come back to visit someday!

We didn't stay at Blueberry Cove but were there most evenings and mornings with a wedding party. Seely was kind enough to offer us refreshments and delicious muffins in the mornings while they got ready. Most importantly - after everyone had left we waited on Seely's wonderful porch for our taxi to arrive to take us to the station. The taxi failed to turn up on time and we were due to miss our train - Seely very kindly offered to drive us all the way to the train station even though she was busy getting the place ready for the next guests. Thank you so much! We offered to pay Seely for the trip but she refused, instead saying we could give to a charity instead which we have done. Thanks again Seely!

It was sweet of you to write a review but compliments make me blush! Offering refreshments was easy when the whole group was such fun to have in the house. That trip to the train was supposed to be our little secret though.

This place is awesome! The room they rent where they allow dogs is separate (trust me, NO ONE can hear your dog if they couldn't hear our little barky kid!), a separate entrance, your own driveway even! A kitchen with all appliances (even a dishwasher!), a hot tub, two bedrooms for families, etc. We were totally pleased with this place. No hot water issues (you almost always run into that problem elsewhere), our bed was very comfy (another non-issue here), two tv's, air conditioners and ceiling fans keep you cool (we stayed the week of the 4th of July and we only needed the ceiling fans, so close to the water the sea breeze keeps you totally cool). Seeley and her husband keep the place very well and clean, are very pleasant down to earth people, complimentary breakfast each morning too. I would recommend this place to anyone. :)

Although your pup is in the running for "Most Timid" and "Most Yappy" Guest of the Year, she is welcome to bring her humans back any time. She will have to stay in the Hideaway though as she isn't quite ready to be a guest in the main house. I am so glad that the three of you enjoyed your stay.

Thursday afternoon before Memorial Day Weekend I was ready to give up looking for places to stay in Rhode Island, every place in Newport was booked. I was bummed. Then I browsed over to Narragansett and came across the Blueberry Cove Inn! I called, no one picked up the first time but Seely (the best hostess ever!) called me back and we were able to book our room with our dog!

Our first time we went to Rhode Island. My boyfriend and I stayed in the Shells room with our medium sized dog, it was the perfect size, the room was nicely lit with natural sunlight, it was quiet and perfect. The room was very nice, very clean, the bed was very comfortable, breakfast was delicious and the overall atmosphere was perfect! We will definitely head back to Blueberry cove, it was seriously perfect.

Room Tip: Top 3rd floor corner room was nice and quiet

Although we restrict dogs to just a few rooms we enjoy having them as guests. We will look forward to your next visit.

We were at the inn the first week of May for our wedding and stayed at the inn for the week. This is a fantastic little B&B with top of the line service. Seely went above and beyond to make sure that our wedding and our stay were all just perfect. She made us feel like family instead of guests. We will definitely be back the whirlpool suite is very comfortable and the hideaway suite has a great fireplace. We can't say enough great things about the Inn and Seely!

My new husband and I stayed in the pet-friendly suite with our two dogs for 3 nights during our elopement. The pet friendly suite is an addition to the main house with its own entry and parking. We were looking to elope without a lot of "hoopla" and found that here. The town hall was within walking distance to the Inn and Seely, the innkeeper, is an officiant! She also provides a beautiful cake, champagne, and beautiful bridal bouquet with the elopement package. She was very flexible with her time and locations for ceremonies. Breakfasts were delicious: fresh fruit, yogurt, coffee, juices, eggs, pancakes, & coconut french toast. Blueberry Cove has a great location as well: walking distance to the beach, the Narragansett Towers, and many restaurants, and shops. Very dog friendly area! Can't wait to go back!

Room Tip: Pet friendly suite has 2 bedrooms, (1 with King size bed and the other with 2 single beds), living r...
