Great raw bar and dinner. Get there early if you don't have time to wait. It's worth the wait if you have to.

Thank Gary G

Beautiful spot with excellent raw bar. We order the fried cucumber oyster appetizer every time we go, and the lobster roll is always tasty.

When you see a shoreside restaurant like this one with so much traffic in and out that off-duty police manage the roadway in front all day every day, you know that place is special...and despite the extreme busy-ness of the place, there were no long waits for table or service for us as a two-top, lots of wait staff, oyster shuckers working an unrelenting fast clip, opening up their signature freshly harvested local oysters... Very tasty, and the dozen variety tray is quite reasonable. I had a boiled lobster, my guy had sea bass, both quite good... Nice wine choices too...The owner used to be a fisherman, and knows his stuff, I only kinda wish he was a bit less terse and perfunctory with us on our table visit, he left us feeling a little off, after an otherwise awesome restaurant experience, we were very pleased and complimentary, maybe there was something up that we didn't know about. Ah well, this place is not to be missed on a trip to southern RI.

Down the road from Rte 1 on Succotash Road is a restaurant and oyster farm that might be the best place to spend an evening in South County, RI. It's a popular place, so expect to wait awhile for a table during the summer season, but your wait can be part of the fun. We were told our table for 2 would be ready in between an hour and a quarter and an hour and a half on a recent Thursday night at 7:00. We ordered drinks at the outside bar overlooking the oyster pond and watched a spectacular sunset. Foyt-five minutes later, we were seated. Our waitress was very pleasant and knowledgeable and the oysters she suggested from the raw bar were perfect. My wife said that the Rhode Island chowder was the best she's ever had. Our entrees were equally delicious: fried clams for her and a wonderfully spicy Jambalaya for me.
The noise level is high inside, but it's all part of the youthful, energetic vibe of the place, a welcome change from the laid-back R I shore.

Very busy oyster bar. We were told it was a 20 minute wait for outdoor seating in the shade, however we were seated in less than 10 minutes. Service was good, despite how busy they were. The food was fabulous.. the best seafood 4 of us ever had. The clam chowder was amazing, the seafood very fresh, and flavorful. We had raw oysters which were amazing, steamers, seafood combination dinner, and jambalya. All superb. Prices were more than fair.
We arrived on motorcycles, and the busy gravel parking lot was a challenge, however the valet staff were very quick to help us get an easy spot to negotiate.
Will definetly go back!
