A short notice trip to Rhode Island led us to this charming house right on the Providence River. Near to major highways, but utterly private and quiet corner of the world. Despite a late night arrival, Daneish was there to welcome us and take our breakfast orders for the next morning. We opted for a ground floor suite, which might once have been an entrance hall. Large room, King sized bed (and TV) and early spring made the personal deck very relaxing after a two hour drive from New Hampshire. Breakfast arrived to accommodate our late schedule (9:30) and was set up on a table in our room looking over the sun dappled water just yards away at high tide. Inside the room was comfortable but not overly decorated, which was relaxing. Paintings by our hostess graced the walls with bright splashes of color. They have been open for five years. 5,000 guests from 30 countries can't be wrong. This is the place to stay!
