I used my points in Beaufort, SC and did nit enjoy my night in this hotel. Beds are hard at this hotel and breakfast is expensive and long lines to get breakfast. Not for the convenience of the guest. I would not recommend this hotel.

Stayed two nights on business and enjoyed the accommodations thoroughly. Every staff member I encountered was friendly, helpful and efficient. My room was quite comfortable and very clean. I especially enjoyed the fresh cookies and refreshing infused water in the lobby. Truly southern hospitality at its best!

came to Beaufort to visit some friends. I love this town and this was a great hotel. Felt like I was at home...Love the staff. The downtown area of Beaufort was very nice and a small town feel. The historic area we really enjoyed a restaurant named Panini's we will definately return to the area and stay at this hotel.

We had a wonderful and relaxing weekend in Beaufort, SC! The Hilton Garden Inn is a great place to stay. The staff was very kind and friendly! We enjoyed the delicious breakfast each morning made to order by a talented chef. The location of the hotel is perfect as we could get anywhere we wanted to go in the area quickly. We will definitely stay again.

Spent one night here on a trip to Fripp Island. The service is outstanding. Every time I walked by the front desk, the ladies there were talking to guests about the area. I have to say they are very proud of Beaufort and a wealth of knowledge on things to do and see in the area. The room was clean and comfortable. Check in was a breeze. If you're looking for a nice place to stay in Beaufort, this is it!

We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Beaufort last week and it was an enjoyable experience. The hotel was very attractive on the outside and on the inside. Our room was spacious and convenient. The check in and check-out procedure was easy and the receptionist was friendly and helpful each time. They had warm chocolate chip cookies in the lobby when we got back from dinner. They provided cool cucumber-flavored water for us to drink in the lobby in the afternoon. It would have been nice to have had a complimentary breakfast in the morning as so many of the nice hotels provide now. The linens were nice and the mattress was comfortable. We would be happy to stay there on our next trip to Beaufort. It is well located and an easy drive to most of the interesting places one would want to visit in the area.

We stopped in Beaufort for the night on our way home to Central Florida from our Summer vacation in the Smoky Mountains. After an extremely long and frustrating drive from eastern Tennessee, what a pleasant surprise it was to arrive at the Hilton Garden Inn in Beaufort. The lobby was stylishly decorated in contemporary and inviting furnishings. They also had cookies and homemade cold "mint" water for the guests. One of the best parts of our visit was the interaction we had with the lovely young lady at the front desk when we checked-in. She was on the phone initially and we overheard her tell someone she was quite sick with but was working through it. You would never had known she was ill because she welcomed us with her beautiful smile and friendly demeanor. She checked us in as quickly as possible and accommodated us with a roll away bed and the extra towels/sheets we needed. She also recommended a great restaurant by the harbor for dinner, gave us easy directions to downtown Beaufort and welcomed us back to the hotel upon our return with that fantastic smile again. Really the kind of southern hospitality that you hope for and expect at a town like Beaufort. We believe her name was Joann or maybe Joani?? If management is reading this review, this young lady should be commended and acknowledged because her customer service was outstanding!!

Our room was large, very clean and nicely decorated. The beds were quite comfortable and exactly what we needed after a long day on the road. There is also a small bar and lounge in the lobby that was fairly active. We did not drink there but it looked reasonable. The only drawback to the hotel was it's location. It's off of the main road into Beaufort and approximately a 5-7 minute drive to downtown Beaufort and the harbor. We prefer properties that are closer to downtown because we like to walk to dinner, shops, bars etc...This is certainly not the fault of any of the staff at the Hilton Garden Inn.

Beaufort is a sleepy, southern coastal town with an abundance of history. The downtown harbor area is so quaint and well appointed with excellent restaurants, bars, ice cream parlors, local shops, historical buildings, inns, gorgeous homes and southern sophistication. Please note - most of the shops close at 5:30-6:00PM daily. We arrived late and were disappointed we were not able to shop very much at these lovely shops. Coincidentally, we were there during the last night of Beaufort's annual Water Festival and downtown Bay Street was buzzing with the yearly "Commodore's" Ball by the harbor. There was live music everywhere, a concert and plenty of opportunities to have a REALLY good time. Downtown was filled with a very interesting and good looking mix of what appeared to be visitors and locals and they were going to drink and party until the wee hours of the night. My wife and I hung out until about 11:30PM and the action was still going on strong at that hour! How funny and cool! I don't think that is a typical night in downtown Beaufort so it was our good fortune to be there this weekend.

Beaufort seems like a great place to visit and we plan on returning to explore it's historical roots and enjoy the shops, restaurants and bars there again. Based on what we observed during our short time, many vacation there. We need to investigate this further! In regards to the Hilton Garden Inn, we had an excellent stay and highly recommend it. We probably will stay at one of the Inns or hotels closer to Bay Street when we return to Beaufort but would not hesitate staying there again if those options were not available.
