My stay was a bit longer than the average guest since I rented the apartment for 2 months. Situated on the river, the view is lovely and tranquil. The decor was not quite my style, but definitely unique. WiFi spotty and I spend a fortune using my phone as a hotspot.
The service was amazing. Sherry, the Innsitter could not have made my stay more comfortable and pleasurable during this difficult time in my life. She was warm, kind and paid attention to every detail to make me feel at home, as she did with every guest during my stay. She went out of her way to accommodate guests on many occasions. She even baked a beautiful wedding cake for a couple who honeymooned at the inn.
Her breakfasts were delicious and I never saw a plate go back that wasn't completely empty.
She was absolutely wonderful with my dog, Fergus and I know he will miss her so. My stay is coming to an end soon and I will truly miss this special person who was a ray of sunshine during a very dark time.

Room tip: Try to stay when Sherry is Innsitting

This was a perfect place to stay for our visit. We stayed in the carriage house. Comfortable clean cozy. Great for long walks in the neighborhood. The owner is friendly and breakfast is good. Beaufort is a nice place to visit.

Best is listening to the tide waters come and go from the verandas. Innkeeper/host pays attention to the details--delicious breakfasts, amenities in the rooms, lovely inn. Common areas decor a bit busy but interesting. Golf course 5 min. walk for first golfing lesson--saw an otter on the course!

Room tip: No bad rooms. We had veranda for river view and were quite pleased.

My family and I were attending my nephews boot camp graduation from the Marines and booked a two night stay here. The Inn is very clean and there's a lot to look at. The location is beautiful. It's located right on the water. Jesse, the Inn Keepers helper couldn't of been nicer or more accommodating. Per Jesses recommendation, we ate dinner at Ladysmith Island Dockside Water Restaraunt. It was a excellent! I highly recommend it!! Although our stay was short, we truly enjoyed the time we were able to spend there.

Needed a code for the door walked in found a room 2nd floor, big sign Welcome Lyles the key was in the door. This house is absolutely mesmerizing from top to bottom. The antiques were unbelievable. I spent as much time as I could just looking at everything. I had a spa bathtub that was heaven last thing I did before I left was take another bath in it. We had a nice little patio. The back of the house had a wonderful view of the inlet nice patio to relax on.

Room tip: I would have chosen a room looking out over the back
