“Fun place to meet for coffee”
Reviewed 28 May 2014

Amazing breakfasts all day. Began as a little French restaurant, but now very busy for breakfast and lunch. I just had "green eggs and ham," a lot like eggs benedict, but with spinach instead of an english muffin. Delicious. The coffee is good, and the staff very upbeat. The soups in the wintertime are always a treat.

“Cute and tasty!”
Reviewed 21 April 2014

This place was very cute and homey. The biscuits and gravy were delicious and the Old McDonald sandwich will be a favorite every time we are in town!

“Modern American with a French Twist”
Reviewed 2 April 2014

Grass feed meats, healthy yet tasty food, eclectic décor, friendly wait staff all added up to a wonderful lunch experience for the two of us. My husband had the Mamba Panini with a side of macaroni salad while I had the pork barbeque with coleslaw and handmade chips. Both were very delicious. I liked that the sauce was mustard based which is what we in this area prefer but it was so good I think even tomato or vinegar-based devotees will enjoy it. The sauce is not overwhelming, just enough to give a kick to the pork. The sweet tea was southern sweet tea and just right. The café was hopping yet the staff kept everyone's glass filled and served the meals in a timely manner. We were too full to try the desserts but they looked amazing. Maybe one day we'll just drop in for coffee and dessert. Breakfast is served all day and the selection has something for everyone. Loved the fresh flowers on the tables and the fact that the restroom was clean and tastefully decorated. This is definitely a place to eat in Beaufort.

“Fresh & Friendly Each Visit!”
Reviewed 13 March 2014 via mobile

As their sign above the exit said..."Come here as strangers, leave here as friends (or something along those lines)!" You can for sure feel the friendliness among the patrons and staff! We went during a busy brunch time, but were able to grab a table to fit us (me, mother-in-law, and my 2 year old son). We got the Green Eggs and Ham, kid's mini pancakes, and a cook to order omelet. All were delicious, hot, and fresh! It was beyond something I could make at home. Red Rooster definitely has "their own" way of spicing up traditional breakfast foods! I've been three times in 8 months! I can't get enough. The sandwiches, soups, and salads looked so good too!
