“Shopping the Night Market”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 July 2014

We shopped the night market. The hours were 6:30 to 10:00. The day vendors moved out and the evening vendors moved in. There were a variety of goods being offered. The crowd was nice and there were street entertainers outside. The experience was different and fun.

“Got a few hours to browse?”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 July 2014

This is a multi-block (3-4) market when there are hundreds of things to view. Most are local crafts and consumables such as jams, jellies, sauces etc. There are also lots of flea market type items as well if you're in need of some inexpensive souvenirs to take back to friends and family. My wife spend 3 1/2 hours going end to end. About 1/2 is air conditioned and the other half is not so beware if you go in the middle of the day in the summer. Gets really sticky inside. Still, it's well worth a half day excursion.

“Great fun with many choices”

Hundreds of vendors offer many interesting items you would not find elsewhere. My wife highly recommends the Charleston Shoe Company, where she purchased several comfortable shoes and sandals.

“MUST SEE LOCAL VENDORS”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 July 2014

If you're visiting Charleston you simply must go through the Market! Wonderful local vendors....sweetgrass baskets, soaps, lemonade and a fantastic handmade herb/spice vendor (The Spice and The Spoon) where we bought delicious Charleston Crab dip and their specialty, City Market which is just super delicious!!! You must check them out if you go to the Market. They have samples out daily...very clean and sanitary. The packaging is delightful and perfect for gift giving! Best souvenir we bought our entire trip!

“A must see”

There are a plethora of vendors selling everything from handcrafted jewelry to national brands. At nite on Friday and Saturday they have a nite market that is strictly local artisans selling handcrafted arts. Spend the day.
