“Cool history”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 April 2014

Tour included only first two floors due to fire safety ordinances. Cool history and pieces. Price is $10 for one attraction, $16 for two, $22 for all three (Charleston museum, Heyward-Washington House, other house). Tour is very short and includes self tour of garden.

“Wonderful Interesting Visit”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 March 2014 via mobile

There is a great deal of our American History stored up in this beautifully restored home! It is worth it to see the furniture which is all original to the area! Washington rented this home while visiting Charleston.

“Well Kept Historical Home - Great Tour Guide”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 March 2014

This little home has 7 rooms with a separate kitchen and gardens. George Washington rented this home for a few months and so did a famous plantation owner and female abolitionist. Interesting and charming. Very knowledgeable tour guide. There are some larger homes in historic Charleston to view, as we later learned.

“Spectacular story and furniture”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 March 2014

Wonderful picture of revolution times in Charleston. Guide, Ms. Larrimore, made complicated story clear. Original Charleston furniture demonstrates richness of city in Colonial times. A must-see.

“We loved this house!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 March 2014

While honeymooning, my wife and I toured this house and had a wonderful time! Our tour guide, Alice Anthony, was simply fantastic. We'd go back just for her! The furniture was also wonderful. Definitely worth your time!
