I've been to aquariums before and while this is not the largest aquarium, the hands-on feel, the variation of the displays and the great support and information given by the volunteers make it worth it. The Bald Eagle, Lemur Display and the various sea life displays was a nice surprise and was very interesting. The dedication of the volunteers is apparent and makes all the difference.

Enjoyed the SC Aquarium very much. Loved the sea turtle, but the river otter was my favorite. He seemed to enjoy showing off for the video camera. Large tank with divers was very impressive, too.

They have a variety of fish that is interesting for the whole family. They actually have more than fish. They have an eagle, lemurs, and otters! It is a very exciting experience.

Seemed pricey for a smallish aquarium, but we were not disappointed! It is a well run aquarium with healthy active animals and fish around every corner. A nice flow, with surprises and impressive displays and habitats everywhere. A variety of outdoor balconies outside on the water, and facing a nice park on the other side. Fun for our three teenagers as well.

Thought it would be bigger and have more to see. Very pricey...$90 for two adults and two kids including the 15 minute 4d movie...good thing the baby was free! The kids went in very excited (7 and 9 year old) but left wanting to see more and kind of disappointed. We breezed through there in under 2 hours. Best part was the 4d movie. We all loved that. Just didn't do it for me like I thought it would. The history tours we took earlier in the day were better values and more fun...even the kids agreed! Wouldn't be bad if it was cheaper I guess is my main complaint.
