“Sunset Blues and BBQ Cruise on July 4th”
Reviewed 8 July 2013

We took the cruise out into the harbor to get a close up of the fireworks. Good call. The food and the music were quite good....we got a nice tour of the harbor itself. We were about as close to the fireworks as you could get....maybe the people on the deck of the Yorktown were a little closer but not by much.

“Palmetto Carriage Ride was fun and we learned some local history”
Reviewed 1 July 2013

4 of us took the carriage ride on a Tuesday afternoon. One of the benefit of the company is that they will pick you up in front of you Charleston Hotel and return you when you are ready. This was a fun way to get some of the local history. I love it

“A tour with Charleston Promenades”
Reviewed 5 June 2013

When my grandsons, ages eleven and eight, came to visit from England, we had a two hour tour with Charleston Promenades. We were absolutely delighted! Martine Dulles knew exactly how to engage the boys and keep them interested for the entire time. Mrs. Dulles is perky and enthusiastic and even spoke some French to the boys, both of whom are studying the language. The tour was a delightful and educational experience for both children and adults. Both boys pronounced it "brilliant."

“Boone Hall Plantation”
Reviewed 7 May 2013

Our visit to this historic plantation was so educational and interesting. Ranging from the history, the agriculture/plasticulture, to the Goulah GeeChee presentation. Highly recommend a visit here when in Charleston, SC!

“Charleston S.C.”
Reviewed 24 April 2013

Palmetto Carriage Rides downtown Charleston North Market just beside City Market. Very informative and nice ride. Just be aware that ALL carriage rides in Charleston are done by lottery so you won't necessarially get the Waterfront/Battery. I think there are three areas that are distrubuted daily.
