This small wine bar and restaurant is a wonderful surprise among the southern cooking and upscale steak houses of upper King St. The atmosphere is warm and comfortable. The owner, Massi, (who is from Rome) is often there welcoming guests. The bartender, Chad, is knowledgeable and helpful. The menu is small enough that each meal can be prepared when ordered. The pastas are made fresh every day and half portions are available. Last night Chaco recommended the peach salad and he was right on----it was fabulous. Oh, and the wine selection is outstanding.
