My husband and I spent 6 nights at this lovely hotel for our Babymoon and it was fabulous. We stayed on the club level (floors 7 & 8), which provide access to breakfast, afternoon tea, hors d'oeuvres, evening desserts and an open bar. The service was impeccable, and much like the rest of the south, we were met with great hospitality. The location was perfect, and central to everything we wanted to do/see. I would highly recommend this hotel for a luxurious getaway.

I had a wonderful three day stay on a business trip. The hotel itself is beautiful and as all the other reviews say, charming and elegant! The staff is very professional with excellent service all the way around. I enjoyed the pool and deck area as well. I had access to the executive lounge and it was a real treat! The hotel is in a great location within very short walking distance to the Market and many shops and restaurants.

From beginning to end, this hotel did not disappoint this very particular traveler at all. Beautiful hotel, excellent, friendly, helpful staff. After this experience, it would be very difficult to stay anywhere else in Charleston. And did I mention I'm VERY particular and some might say hard to please??? They got everything right.

Room Tip: I don't know that there is a bad room in this hotel.

Highly recommended as perhaps the best Hotel in Charleston.
Full of Southern Charm.
Absolutely impeccable.
The rooms are been totally renovated.
Very well situated in the old part, next to Kings Street.
Special thanks to Rick Martin the head concierge and Nicole who pampered us at the Restaurant on Mothers Day.

Room Tip: All rooms seem to be pretty much the same. Some have small cute balconies.

This is a lovely hotel but prices were double what is usually available because it was graduation weekend. Little things like coffee in the room should be available for 400 + a night.
Newly renovated rooms are very nice, wonderful bathrooms and two chairs in the sitting area.

Great city, great hotel! Expensive but well worth it if it falls within your budget. Breakfast and sun deck/pool were personal highlights. Location works really well and we had a great time thank you!

Great city, great hotel. Expensive all round but the experience is well worth it if within your budget. Breakfast and the sun deck/pool were personal highlights. Rooms and service were excellent, mandatory 20% tip on drinks at the bar was excessive. Apparently was only applicable for parties over 6 but was applied on drinks when we had less at the bar which was a bit cheeky! Overall great holiday!
