The room was clean and well organized daily. I like the working chair in the room, it swings properly and could be used as back therapy.

The restaurant has affordable meals. Though I ate The Mills House Burger, it was well done, and worth the pay.

I would not mind staying there again. But it would be good in the absence of Mircro-Wave to have small refrigirators in the rooms.

From the start, the staff was great. We were assigned room 728 on the 7th floor (top) and once we got there, my husband and I noticed how loud the air conditioner unit on the whole floor was. Our room's floor was vibrating from this unit that was apparently next door to the room. We stayed a few minutes and then thought it would keep us awake at night because it was annoying. We couldn't relax, so we called for another room. The staff was great and offered us another room on the 6th floor. They met us at the new room with a key. It was much quieter! We were very happy!
This was my third visit to the hotel. I do miss the warmth of the lobby. The new decor leaves a very cold and uninviting feeling with the lavender cool colors with the beautiful white trim. There are no warm colors that they used to have in the lobby areas. I know they are still putting some finishing touches on the hotel, but somebody needs to remember that we don't want modern cold decor in a very historic hotel. Wyndam is missing the mark and they need to rethink the decor.
