The hotel was very convenient to Charleston. We enjoyed the evening manager reception and the morning breakfast. Plenty of on site, secure parking. The staff was very attentive and helpful We would definitely return for another visit

Good Location. Recommend a room above the first floor due to humidity in rooms on Ground Floor near the pool. Our two room suite with kitchenette had no glasses cups plates or flatware. This is an inconvenience in a hotel without a restaurant. Also, there was no safe in the room for valuables.

We stayed here for five nights in April and found this hotel to be excellent. It's an easy drive to the Historic District and also much less expensive. The hotel is in a great location with a shopping center one block away. There is also a Costco about one half mile away. Costco had the lowest gas prices and was convenient to pick up a quick and cheap bite to eat. We had a one bedroom suite on the forth floor. It was next to the elevator but we never heard it! Get the suite if you can, it's great to have the kitchenette. The hotel staff was super friendly, especially Gloria! The breakfast was very good and was not your typical Continental type of breakfast. There was usually an egg dish, sausage, potatoes, mixed fruit, great coffee and many other items. The only food item we didn't care for was the cheese omelet (a different cheese would make it better). We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

Stayed for long weekend with family in multiple rooms including one suite. Property, including rooms, breakfast area, pool and exercise area are in good repair and aesthetically as pleasing as a Hampton Inn gets. Front desk staff were very helpful. Breakfast fare is fairly typical for property... isn't enough seating on weekends.

Room Tip: Avoid even-numbered rooms on 2nd floor above laundry area. Avoid low number rooms on 2nd floor on weekend - as dancing / parties / music / noise spills out into corridor. 3rd and 4th floor quieter. Property is not easy to find - it's behind a large and modern Toyota Dealer, but walking distance from Food Lion grocery and CVS chemist / drug store.

We stayed in this hotel for our visit to Charleston, SC. It was convenient to all locations from the city to all the other historic properties for site seeing. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. The hotel was clean and had a very good continental breakfast. Even on the go breakfast bags. Our suite was clean and comfortable, the bed was one of the most comfy beds I think I have ever slept in at a hotel or resort. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are staying in the West Ashley/ Charleston area.

Room Tip: If you are staying for more then a day or two, I would suggest a suite. Just more roomy and comfortable, with the little extras.
