“Great location”

Located right across street from Visitor Center and free trolley stop. Within walking distance of many, many shops and restaurants. We loved this hotel. The warm cookies and coffee in the lobby was a special treat each day. Also water bottles were offered on more than one occasion.

The property was sparkling clean and the staff friendly and ready to answer any questions. The location across the street from the Charleston Visitor Center was perfect for catching the FREE trolly for access to the Historic Downtown and other locations. Or, if you prefer to walk, it is an easy 15 minutye walk to the Historic Charleston Markets Right around the corner from King Street shopping and restaurants made it a great spot.

We had a very enjoyable stay as part of a fly drive. The hotel is well located to access the Historic District and this made it easy to get around. the rooms were very nice, well appointed, spacious and very clean. The lobby area had a very good and comfy seating area with tea, coffe etc. available all day. Parking was in a secure multi story on site and fairly easy .

Everything about the hotel was wonderful - I paid more than I usually would for one night, but location, location, location. It was perfect for events in and around John/ King/ Meeting Streets, and I was able to quickly walk to locations for food/ meetings/ etc.

Friendly, helpful staff. Very clean, close to everything. Convenient parking in adjacent deck for guests that was cheaper than the other decks we parked in. Plenty of room in the breakfast area and lovely outdoor courtyard seating available also!

We had a room on the ground level so, in addition to the main entrance off the hallway, we also had a door onto the courtyard, which had a pool. We liked the complimentary breakfast which had a wide variety of foods - this saved us some money as this was one meal we didn't have to pay for. This hotel doesn't have a restaurant, so no room service - not an issue for me, but some travelers might find this a drawback. My only complaint was that our room was usually too warm. We tried to adjust the thermosdat and it didn't work. We finally called the front desk and they promptly sent their electrician to fix it. That fix lasted a few hours then the room was too warm, once again. But this was a small complaint, overall we had a great experience at this hotel. I'd go there again given the opportunity to visit Charleston.

Room Tip: Try to get a room on the first floor which opens onto the hotel's courtyard.

Staff was excellent, hotel was very clean, room was clean, comfortable and roomy (we had a king suite), location was great (we were in walking distance to many restaurants and shops), breakfast was adequate, but not outstanding, afternoon cookies was a nice touch.
