But the music is a little too loud, the seating is a little uncomfortable, particularly near the door, the environment is visually disturbing, and that said, the place is conveniently located right off George Street near the College of Charleston and a number of other restaurants that do well catering to students, the service was just fine, and the food was reasonably satisfying and, for sure, reasonably priced given the clientel. I had some chicken wings which were plump, tasty and hot as heck (photo), and which should have been ordered only with permission from my cardiologist. That was followed up by a traditional gyro and fries (photo). What the heck? It was okay, but for me the tzatziki sauce needed a little more ziki - a little more zip. For what the place is, it's pretty good, so if you're hankering for such stuff, just drop in when you're in the neighborhood. Want med cuisine of the more upscale variety? Visit Lana or one of the other nearby places rated in Tripadvisor. Don't like gyro and tzatziki? Manny's has other items of an Italian slant, like pizza and baked pasta and meatballs, that might be pretty good.
