We really enjoyed our meal. It's a great place for families. We had a group of 6. Good kids men. I had a salad with steak and it was very tough but the rest of the meal was really great.

We had a party of 4, my girlfriend and her parents. Drinks came out entirely too slow considering there were maybe 10 people in the restaurant. 10 minutes between a beer/liquor order and the delivery of those drinks. Ordered a blooming onion from the "Throwback Wednesday" menu. It took 20 minutes to come out, because there was a new fry cook, and the first one was messed up. The manager brought it out and comped it, which was nice. We ordered entrees, a half rack of ribs, a sirloin and baked potato, fish and chips, and a chicken stir fry from the same special Wednesday menu. The sirloin order was due to the fact they were completely out of shrimp, otherwise, there would've been another stir fry order with shrimp. The ribs were passable, although the fries were cool and soggy because of the time it took to get them out. The sirloin was cooked a little too well, as I ordered medium rare and it was on the medium/medium well side. The fish and chips went down without complaint (he never complains about anything)... which brings me to the stir fry. It was a large side of really strange tasting rice, and some veggies and chicken on the side. At that point, we didn't want to raise a big stink, as it'd been a long day, and we were just hoping to get out of there. Anyway, I say the decline continues, because that location used to be a go-to in the area for a decent meal... the last few visits however, have convinced me to explore other options. Slow bar and wait-staff service, lackluster food, and certainly not cheap. Many better options in the area, especially with the new restaurants open(ing) in West Ashley, like Green Goat and Swig and Swine.

Wanted a steak the first night we arrived. Prices were ridiculous in Charleston, THEN we found TBonz! Great steak at a great price. Service was excellent! Everything we put in our mouth was delicious! So good that we ate at TBonz twice during our short visit in Charleston. Will definitely recommend to friends coming to Charleston & will be back again. Best prime rib ever!!!!!!

First lets start with Maria. She was our server and she was fantastic. A true representation of southern charm and hospitality. Kind genuine and made great recommendations.

The food: started with deep fried dill pickle chips. Fantastic taste and value but almost filled myself up. Great but brown ale from the restaurant itself. We both ha a Thai shrimp entree on cheesie grits with fried green tomatoes. yummy! The entire staff was great and it is located next to the market and half block from the carriage tour depots. Stop in. You won't be sorry

This is a must have for College of Charleston who want to explore the market at night with friends. The food here is packed with soul and did account for about half of my freshman fifteen. I love this place, and couldn't say enough positive things about it.
