Description: Edmund’s Oast is a restaurant like no other, because it’s so much more - a unique combination of brewery, seasonally-focused kitchen, and encyclopedic bar program. Scott Shor had the vision to bring these often-singular pursuits under one roof without sacrificing an inch of quality among them. The restaurant offers an elevated but approachable menu, providing guests a warm and exciting dining experience. Executive Chef Bob Cook’s distinctively dynamic menu includes bar snacks, house made charcuterie, small plates, heartier entrees, and classic desserts with a contemporary spin. The food is authentic without pretension, delivering an extraordinary dining experience inspired by the beverages featured on the menu.

Our first time in Charleston, we scanned Trip Advisor dinner options and found Edmund's Oast. The reviews were good so we tried it. I never realized how good healthy food could taste. Their Executive Chef and his team presented some of the best vegetable dishes I've ever tasted. Each dish made our taste buds come alive, no bland dishes served here. Healthy and delicious at a good price. Seating both indoors or outside. Highly recommend you book a reservation a few days in advance, especially if you prefer an indoor table. Easily accessable and safe (free) parking on the side of the building. Although I don't partake of adult beverages anymore, they also have their own brewing operation and offer an extensive line of beers, ales, etc. plus a full bar. I am posting a pic but it doesn't do it justice. Dress casual to upscale casual seemed to be the feel of the place. The wait staff was amazing, professional, personable and attentive, especially our server, Eric. We have already made reservations to dine there again before leaving town. Although the menu selection isn't huge by typical restaurant fare norms, there is certainly enough variety and unique, signature items for anyone's taste. Folks, the reviews for this gem are to be believed, you won't be sorry!

Had a little trouble finding the exact location of the restaurant, but so glad we did. The staff was personable, which added to the fun of the evening. Started with a cheese plate, which was tasty. Both my husband and I had the cheeseburgers with fries. Great burgers! For dessert, I had a peach cake dessert and loved it! Husband had the homemade ice cream. Loved our waiters and the laid-back atmosphere, in addition to the non-stuffy look of the restaurant and the parking lot! Would definitely return.

My boyfriend and I dined here on Wed. August 23 for our Anniversary and had a wonderful experience. The food was absolutely incredible--especially enjoyed the Mac & Peas with curry! We had the same server as our first time here a few months ago, and she impressed us both times. April is incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, and she has a great attitude. We really enjoyed our experience at Edmund's Oast. It is quickly becoming our favorite spot to eat in Charleston!

While staying in the North Central neighborhood, we made an effort to eat at a number of the restaurants within walking distance. We had a great brunch at Edmund's Oast. I had a chilli pork dish served over chips with a great blend of spices and finely grated cheese topped w cilantro. It was an unusual opion for brunch but delicious. My wife had the catfish and creamy grits. Both were amazing. Price was good and service excellent.
