So comfortable & the food was delicious. Anything with the mustard should not be missed. Loved the Moules Frites. Kristen is a great bartendar and cares so much about the place.

For those who care, the Women's room is great. Clean & spacious. Nicer than most places downtown.

After reading that the chef from LaFourchette had taken over the kitchen at Egan's, we knew we had to try it. Fried oysters that came with pickled okra & baby string beans to share for a starter and we both had the rabbit confit with the duck fat fries and a small salad. Everything was really good. We drank beer with our dinners, since the wine list is a bit on the slim side. Sticky toffee pudding for dessert - which they brought to me with a candle in it for my birthday! We reserved the "snug" - a great semi-private room near the bar. Great service - nice music in the background and the prices are very fair. We'll be back often.

We accidentally found Egan & Sons on our last day in Charleston. Had we found it sooner, we would have been regulars. The place is appointed beautifully...extremely tasteful without being pretentious. Had the opportunity to meet Chris, the owner...owns a number of restaurants and clearly knows what he's doing. Kristen the bartender/manager/woodworker is a gem! I had the fish & chips and it was not disappointing. Nice selection of beer on tap as well. Between the food, drink, atmosphere and staff you don't want to miss this place.

This is a great pub and place to be. It has been so beautifully updated and is inviting...to all. A great place for an easy lunch, fun happy hour and delicious dinner. I am sad to say once this gem is uncovered a seat will be hard to be had. The Reuben is tasty, as is the chicken sandwich and gyro...duck fat fries worth the carbs. In addtion the wait staff, in particular Kristen, are very attentive and knowledgeable. Stop on by, you will not be disasppointed.

Wonderful hospitality in a local bar. Combined with well-cooked food (we had steaks and quail).

A wee gem!
