“Great location, but better suited for a couple.”

This was our first time to visit Charleston. We have stayed in vacation rentals before, found and booked on Trip Advisor. The owner of this rental was wonderful! So quick to answer my questions and very helpful with suggestions of things to do while we were in Charleston!

The rental was very nice, but it would have been better for 1 adults instead of 2 adults and 2 teenagers. The sofa bed for our daughters appeared to be very old and was very uncomfortable for them. Also, I was expecting some sort of dining table. Maybe I misunderstood that there was indeed a place to sit and eat at a table. There were plenty of outside tables to dine at outside in the courtyard. However, it was very hot and humid while we were there and we preferred to eat inside. Finally the mini kitchen was fine for us with a working microwave, mini fridge and microwave. We used the provided dishes, silverware and glasses. The only thing that was lacking was a sink there to wash dishes. I had to do this in the bathroom sink - yuck! If I were going again, I would bring a dishpan in for me to wash dishes in.
The front desk people were also very friendly and accommodating. There was a place to do laundry and we liked that they are very green with recycling trash.

We parked our car ourselves instead of using the valet parking.

Charleston is a very nice place to visit where the locals are very friendly.
