Quaint bed and breakfast with an elevator! This was a treat as many BNB's do not have elevators. A nice breakfast in the lobby area with seating in the courtyard and wine and cheese in the afternoon. You are literally in walking distance to everything and right across the street from the market. A nice place and the staff is incredible!

From the moment we pulled up we felt welcomed and relaxed. The front desk staff were like old friends, warm, attentive and with a wonderful sense of humor. Check in was a breeze, directions to parking, wifi and refreshment hours very clear. Upon hearing that we were in town for a milestone anniversary, the staff surprised us with an upgrade to a beautiful, large corner suite that had a sitting area on the balcony and high ceilings, huge windows and traditional decor inside the room.

Around the property: the courtyard is whimsical, a place you want to linger. The elevators were easy and the housekeeping staff were friendly and offered a smile and a welcome to the property. It's rare that you check in and get actual keys, but the Meeting Street Inn maintains its charm in this dept too!

Upon returning from a warm night walk to the Waterfront Park and dinner, we returned and found ice cold beverages (lemonade was delicious!). The night staff were just as friendly--all genuinely appearing to enjoy their jobs and want to help people have the most enjoyable stay possible. I cannot say enough good things about this Inn. Stay here and you won't be disappointed. It's not just a hotel; it's an immersive experience in Charleston culture and hospitality.

Here is a very quaint place to stay in Charleston. The staff is the best and are attentive to each and every customer. They make the guests feel very welcome. The breakfast is substantial and very good. Coffee is great! The manager's afternoon reception is extremely generous. Red and white wine is served with cheese and crackers. Guests have a chance to rest and converse in a spacious lobby and garden area. Our room was clean and comfortable. The Inn could benefit from an update in upholstery and fresh paint. The patio area should be swept clean and the patio furniture washed off more frequently. Otherwise the facility was worth the moderate price. We would stay at this place in the near future.

The staff at the Meeting Street Inn could not have been nicer or more accommodating. The complimentary hot breakfast was delicious and nicely presented. The location is wonderful and near everything--shopping, attractions and many great restaurants. While our room was a little dark primarily because of its location, it was quaint, clean and the bathroom nicely updated. Having a fridge in the room is always a nice addition. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would stay there again.
