While not considered the mecca for good sushi and this is basically the only choice outside the refrigerated section in the local grocery store. We were a bit skeptical, and in fact our first encounter over a year ago was almost a deal breaker... however, after the opening weeks jitters passed, the sushi chef came through. Meal after meal and sushi and sashimi that followed as top notch.. better than some we have had in Los Angeles. Try the Mango Roll and the specialty Tokyo Fried Roll. Their specialty rolls will rival the best out there.
Portions are large on the other Japanese menu items such as the Hibachi and teriyaki meals, you can make a decent meal ordering the "kids bowels".
