the shrimp was very fresh, and there were enough grits for 2 more meals! The fried pickles (sliced) were very good, and the oysters were also fresh and well rinsed.

Went with a large group of 10 people, college kids ready for graduation.. They have great appetizers to share including Cajun Brochettes, Mac n Cheese Balls, Oysters grilled or fried, and peel and eat shrimp.. order pitchers of beer and you have the makings of a fun, happy feast. The combo platters and smoked meats are excellent. This New Orleans style restaurant is a loud, fun place. The staff does a good job keeping things going. There may be a wait, but the bar is an excellent way to pass the time. Plus it is located right across from Clemson's campus and the start of downtown.

Yes getting your food can be a little slow but PSOB has a relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff. The food is fantastic especially the smoked sampler, shrimp and grits and all their weekend brunch foods . My favorite was the Southern eggs Benedict, they were not what you expected but the flavor profile is perfect! The kids love coloring on the butcher top table and watching their South Carolina picture show.

Decided to give this place a try during family weekend. Our waitress wanted nothing to do with us. We had to ask another waitress for water and our appetizer. We got the app and no one visited our table for 20 minutes. 4 tables who got seated after us had thier food 20 mins. Prior to us. We are not that hard to please, a sorry goes along way, but we did not receive one apology. Now for the food. Shrimp was the best of 4 dinners, the salad with pork had seasoning salt sprinkles all over it, the stew was OK but we never received the cornbread. Needless to say we will not give this place a second chance. Food definitely not worth the disappointment. Too bad could of had customers for the next 4 years

You will see us improve. We served almost 1,000 people outside of the restaurant on a few rather large catering events the same weekend you were there. It was also game day weekend therefore It had us a bit short staffed. I heard Outback Steakhouse had the same problems as us. Thanks for the compliment on the shrimp dinner. That is one of our specialties.

Hopefully, you will give us another shot. We feel we have the BEST food in downtown Clemson!

This is a nice little place in the middle of Clemson, right down the street from the stadium. I had the the ribs, which I was told just came out of the smoker. They were fantastic. My friend had the bbq chicken which also looked good. Fun place with a friendly staff. Only a few beers on draft, not much of a selection but okay choices. It's not easy to find a place to park but it's definitly worth checking out. I will be going back.
