The room and bathroom were not extremely impressive, just basic hotel. The location, outdoor area and hot breakfast is the seller. Located right off the interstate, close to many good restaurants and shopping. It was raining when we stayed but there was an amazing outdoor pool area with fire pit, covered patio with flat screen TV, bike rentals for the nearby lake. Even a walking trail around the lake right across the street. Breakfast was good (and free) with many options, cereal, yogurt, bagels, muffins, eggs, sausage, oatmeal, waffle maker, donuts and assorted milk and juices. Very updated lobby and breakfast area. Would recommend for the amenities not really the room itself.

Dear Mallory T,

We are thankful you enjoyed your past stay with our property and do hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back again soon. Our hotel has completed a few phases of projects since 2010 and are in the final stages this year. We started with our lobby and public areas, followed by the patio and pool you mentioned and are onto the upstairs as phase three.

Our sleeping rooms are under renovations as I write this response and are excited to roll out the new rooms before spring. We do hope you'll come and check them out!

Sleeping safely and soundly on a great mattress and clean linens is a real treat after driving 11 hours. One would think that was enough but to have a glorious breakfast included is a real treat in today's economy. Thank you, Hampton.

Clean rooms. Clean lobby. Helpful staff, but probably one of the worst breakfasts I've had in years at a hotel, even those whose rates are significantly less expensive. No eggs, no sausage, no bacon. In fact, no breakfast meat at all.

Dear DonaldA,

Although it seems you enjoyed your overall stay we left some room to impress you with the Hampton Breakfast experience. I do regret it was lacking for your taste. Hampton is working very hard to make the breakfast experience a refreshing one for everyone. On a daily ritual we provide assorted breakfast breads, cold cereals, hot oatmeal with toppings of choice, fresh baked waffles with fresh fruit toppings, sweets and syrups. Fresh cut fruit along with yogurt as well. In addition each day we have 2 items we rotate, almost always one meat and an egg. I am not sure what we had the menu the day you stayed but this could be eggs and bacon, sausage and gravy with biscuits, egg and bacon bagel toppers, roasted potatoes and other such items. We do hope your next visit to Hampton will breakfast will be serving your favorites!

Excellent service and help at the front desk. While I was only there for one night (passing through with family on vacation) the stay was great. While I dont plan on staying at this hotel in the future, I would if passing through the area again. Jason at the front desk was very helpful and friendly

One of the things that we like about Hampton Inns in general is that they meet the brand standards. This one is no exception - the rooms are clean, the bedding comfortable and the breakfast bar fully stocked and well maintained. Can't ask for better than that. Thank you for a good night's sleep and a pleasant stay.

You are very right, Hampton strives to comply to its brand standards across the board, it is what you should expect. Hampton actually does two quality assurance inspections a year at each hotel.
