“A Winning Hybrid!”
Reviewed 3 January 2014

Smashburger is fast food sort of..... The menu is burgers, chicken, salads with fries and shakes and soft drinks just like some fast food outlets, atmosphere and decor is similar too, but the comparison pretty much ends there. Food here is made to order, beer is available, shakes use Haagen Dazs ice cream and smashburger fries are made with rosemary. The burgers aren't quite up to gourmet burger standards but neither are they like the ones you buy from your local drive thru! Order at the register, find a seat and your order will be delivered promptly, hot and freshly made!

“A very good burger”
Reviewed 24 November 2013

Friendly staff and great burgers (and chicken) fixed the way you want it. The onion haystack is outstanding with a sauce having a hint of horseradish. The French fries have a hint of rosemary. There are also entrees for the veggie lovers and my wife loves their Cobb salad. This has become our favorite burger place. It would be perfect if they only had more parking available. In better weather there are a couple of tables outside. I understand that Smashburger is opening another location at Harbison soon.

“Great burgers, excellent staff.”
Reviewed 2 November 2013

We enjoyed our first Smashburger in Ohio last summer so when we saw this one on our recent road trip we decided to stop in for dinner. They are some of the best burgers you can get at a fast food restaurant. Just like our previous experience, the service was quick and friendly. The staff are available to make sure you have everything you need and prompt to bring you extra napkins, condiments, etc. if asked.

“just what your tired soldier wants”
Reviewed 30 July 2013

Was in Fort Jackson for graduation. The new soldier , on his off-base pass graduation day, ended up eating both lunch and dinner here.Different burger each time, different drinks, but everything was excellent. Oreo Hagen-Daz milkshake great; I loved the sweet potato fries with rosemary, olive oil and garlic. Fresh jalapeno's on the burger, not some limp canned version. Very friendly staff and management.

“First Try For Me”
Reviewed 16 July 2013 via mobile

I ordered a big smash burger and had high expectations but came up short. The burger tasted good but was lacking. The burger was smashed where it was an inch overhanging all around on a small bun. Could not eat bun or toppings until excess beef was off. My burger was too salty which may have been caused by the fried onion strings. Their french fries were shoe string style but fairly hard and not soft. Nice place with a few shortcomings. Burger meat tasted good.
