I ate at this restaurant based on the high reviews it received while on a recent trip to Columbia, SC. It's not all that impressive looking from the outside, but don't let it's appearance fool you. The menu is not the most varied I've ever seen at a Mexican restaurant, but the food they offer is authentic and everything I tried was delicious. I had the Cubana sub, and it was AMAZING. I cannot stress this enough, it looked and tasted like it belonged on the Food Network on one of those "Best Ever" food shows. My mom had the Fajita salad, which was really good but not served in a shell which was the most disappointing aspect of our meal. My dad had the verde enchiladas, and even though it took him a few minutes to get used to the green sauce he ended up loving it. At a nearby table some gentlemen were eating some sort of really hearty-looking soup that looked fabulous, so I will definitely be coming back here soon to try some of it.
