“Worth the Wait”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 July 2014 via mobile

Bottom line: The food is excellent and the people friendly. Do not come here if you are in a hurry.

A family run place with several generations working here. They do not take reservations, so get there early or take your chances. We waited outside for an hour to get seated. My wife had the double decker which was to schnitzels with ham and cheese between with both the mushroom and cheese gravy over. It was excellent and almost enough for two. A nice selection of German beers. Dishes are not pre-made, so it takes some time to get you meal once you order. So don't come here in a hurry. The restaurant is not much to look at, but it think the food and friendly is the draw here. I will go back.

“Authentic German Food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 June 2014

The Jaegerschnitzel was fabulous, as well as the bratwursts that she has shipped in from Nuremburg. The mushroom gravy on the schnitzel was flavorful and aromatic, and also tasted great over the spaetzle served as a side dish. I ordered a side of their Red Cabbage and it was one of the best that I've ever eaten. Julia served us wonderful dark German beers and told us stories of how she started her restaurant, she is a joy. The place has a homey feel, like you were invited to a friend's home for dinner. Prices are pretty reasonable especially considering that the portions are large. You won't go home hungry when you eat at Julia's. The outdoor seating is very limited and not particularly desirable being right near the parked cars, so I'd suggest eating inside the restaurant.

“Best German Food and Service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 June 2014

We have been to Juia's several times and we are never disappointed. It's always wonderful! The desserts are some of the best I've had anywhere! Go on Tuesday or Wednesday if you want dessert... she sells out by the end of the week. She makes ALL the desserts. We went for a Wednesday dinner and she had already sold out of the homemade Apple Strudel. But the Strawberry Cake was equally delicious.

Julia is always pleasant and friendly. She makes sure the food is to everyone's satisfaction. Absolutely LOVE THIS RESTAURANT!

“Best Schnitzel Ever”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 April 2014

We have had wiener (veal) schnitzel in Koblenz, Germany and this restaurant serves the best ever (no exaggeration). We started with a cup of goulash served over spetzel (tiny dumplings). We had the white cheese sauce for the schnitzel and it was fantastic. Julia and Jerry greet customers warmly and create a wonderful atmosphere. The meal ended with a moist vanilla torte cake.

Be prepared to come with cash or a personal check. This place is at the top of our list for special occasions and when family comes in for a visit.
