Description: DiPrato's Delicatessen opened May 2004, and, today, the DiPrato's Experience affords patrons a rewarding escape from ordinary fare. The reward? Delectable food, beautiful décor, and a beguiling balance: friendly service and a pleasant, neighborly feeling. DiPrato's, located where the Purple Cow grocer operated, graces a quiet neighborhood barely off the beaten path. Driving up, you notice the rich red brick, set off by greenery, and spacious windows where light pours in. Approaching the wooden, double-door entrance, a thought comes to mind. You're about to enjoy the DiPrato's Experience. You could say a Southern breeze laden with Italian accents drifts through this New York style delicatessen. Dine if you like on the patio where the glassy splash of falling water melts away concerns. Pita chips and pimento cheese are a real treat! Blend Dianne Light and Bill Prato's presence and culinary skills and you get a wonderfully popular delicatessen-DiPrato's.

“Fantastic Brunch!”
Reviewed 5 May 2014

Had Sunday brunch and it was great. Had the pecan banana pancakes and they were fantastic. They had bananas and pecans throughout, not just on top. The bacon was top notch and good coffee too. It was a nice atmosphere and the service was good. The eggs benedict looked really good and I will probably get that next time. The prices were good and comparable to cracker barrel and the quality of food is much better.

“Try take out”
Reviewed 22 April 2014

We went in and got several dips and spreads as well as desserts and took them back with us. We stuck mainly with the smaller container but it was plenty for everyone. The tomato stacks were awesome. Everything is fresh and don't leave without the Pita chips!

“Decent had better for less $$$”
Reviewed 18 April 2014

Tried Di Pratos last week with the wife for lunch . Nice looking restaurant nice decor inside , waiters and waitresses in uniforms . I ordered chicken cheese steak and sweet tea. Sub roll a little bit hard for my taste was also toasted, chicken was not slice thin but rather like chunks, had decent flavor but dry cam with provolone cheese . The entire sandwich was dry and was about the size of 6 inch subway sub. Wife had the pimento cheese sandwich on pumpernickel bread again very avg size sandwich . I tasted the sandwich and it was delicious . She also had a cup of tomato basil soup also very yummy and thick more like a bisque. Heres my problem two avg size sandwiches , 1 water , 1 sweet tea , 1 cup soup (not bowl) plus 3.50 tip for a total of 27 dollars for lunch , Can u say ouch . Please had better sandwiches for a whole lot less

“Totally worth the wait!”
Reviewed 10 April 2014

A few friends and I were in town this past Sunday and had heard great things about DiPrato's, so we decided to give it a try. It was just before noon, and the place was packed. We had a short 10-15 minute wait before being seated. Once we were seated, we watched nearby tables being served their meals, and we knew we were in for a real treat. Our server was excellent, and the whole waitstaff actually seemed to help each other out, refreshing drinks for all tables, picking up plates and glasses everywhere, all with friendly smiles!

The food was amazing. We could choose from the brunch or lunch menu. I ordered a simple ham and cheese omelet with a biscuit and their amazing potato and cheese casserole... and it was superb! The other folks I was with had breakfast paninis and one had a ruben, and we were all really pleased. After we ate, we slowly wandered by the dessert and deli cases, just for one final drool-fest. Wow.

We'll definitely come back the next time we're in the area. :)
