Very friendly staff, eager to please with special orders. Food was over cooked. Lima Beans were mush. Shrimp in the shrimp and grits were tough. The brown gravy was not made from scratch and was poured over everything. This was a disappointing experience.

Great comfort food! It's a small restaurant and very inviting after walking around town. The food is cooked to order and comes out hot and mouth watering! Had the fried chicken breast, cooked perfectly, fried okra, and red rice...YUMMY. Orders come with cornbread! Our waitress was also the cashier at the time. She was very very pleasant! A must go to while in Georgetown! Will definitely be returning.

Soul Food at it's finest.
If you go to the end of the waterfront, past all of the tourist attractions and trendy little shops and eateries, you will fine Aunnie's. Soul Food done right!
The Soul Food here, is truly home cooked and incredibly good. Lunch was "meat and two" and offered up fried chicken, which I opted for today, meatloaf, fried fish or pork chops and a list of sides that included every favorite from rice to squash casserole ( the squash is worth the price of the meal all by itself). There was a huge dessert list with all that any Southern boy could want including sweet potato pie.
Their sweet tea is addictive and the service is very Southern. My server told me a few stories that made the entire experience even more enjoyable.
Aunnie and her staff serve up true Soul Food with so much attention to detail, that I thought my Mom was working in the kitchen.
Truly a must when you are in Georgetown and I understand that if you get there by 11:00 AM on Sunday, everybody is still in church, and you stand a good chance to get a seat for a very Southern breakfast.
I may skip church on Sunday and say grace twice, the food is so good here.
Aunnie, you hit a home run with this Southerner that spent too long up North. It's good to be home.

A mix of old Southern & soul food all of which is fresh and prepared as if for a big family. Fried chicken, pork chops, sweet potato casserole or lima beans - this is the place. If you want a chef salad, go somewhere else, but if you want real home cooked Southern fare go for it here!!

Honestly, we were blown away. Fried chicken, butter beans cooked with okra, candied yams, green bean casserole and corn bread--all served by such a pleasant lady in a comfortable atmosphere. It truly felt like you had walked into someone's home kitchen. Don't be in a hurry--just kick back and enjoy the sweet tea. You won't be disappointed.
