My wife and I visited this museum in the historic Georgetown district on a recent visit. We wanted to learn more about the area, plus I was researching a great great grandfather who had lived in Georgetown and was buried there. I had earlier found his grave, but had been unsuccessful in locating his house (I had pictures of it taken in 1947). The museum director connected us with a digital librarian at the county library who helped us locate the house.
The museum will be locating very soon to a much larger space which will give them more room for current displays as well as room for special, changing exhibits.
