Fantastic food, excellent service and if you eat outside, a wonderful view of the Reedy River and the Peace Center.

Oh my, this is a wonderful restaurant with nice views of the river while you dine. We made a reservation and asked for a window view, but on a Tues, we didn't really need to.
Very nice that we could walk from our hotel. Whether you sit inside or on the patio, both have nice views. The patio has a nice fountain, but it was a little warm for us to sit outside.
Service: Excellent and checked on us often.
Food: We opted for a couple of appetizers and an entree to share.
Our favs were: Goat Cheese Balls. Truffle fries is a huge amt and good if you have people to share with you. Our Sea Bass was wonderful.
We enjoyed everything and will definitely go back.
Hint: This restaurant group has several places in the downtown area. Check their website.

To begin with, ask for a table by the window. The view isn't of a fantastic skyline but rather a sweet out look of the TD Stage and the sidewalk to the suspension bridge (I guess that is depending upon which direction you are walking). Next, order the Fried Goat Cheese, Harissa Spiced Hummus and a pitcher of Sangria. Then, hold off the wait staff and enjoy. Honestly, this is all you need, however, we did not know that and ordered the Fried Calamari salad and Lamb Kefta. Both were finely prepared and tasty. The calamari was perfectly battered and not too bready or greasy. Really perfect. The lamb kafta was a little dry but seasoned well.

Our only negative takeaway was the wait staff took almost 15 minutes before approaching us once we were seated. We then stayed a good 2 hrs lingering over our sangria and meals.

We hope to come back and enjoy endless paella on the patio.

Four of us met at Lazy Goat before a performance at CentreStage. Waiter was terrific, food was excellent, view of the river and Peace Center 'hood superb. The noise level was pretty high, alas, a common feature of even the best restaurants. We will return, perhaps with earplugs!
