we arrived early n room was not ready.
rather than waste time, we went to
downtown Greenville for the farmers market n lunch n shopping.
didn't get back til 4 pm n room was ready.
Carla upgraded us to a king suite.
we had no idea that the toilet was
leaking somewhere n no repairman on premises. they offered to move is but we had already unpacked n also had dinner reservations... so we packed the area around the toilet w heavy bath towels.
breakfast was a carbohydrate joke.
it took over 10 min for the machine to make ONE small pancake. the line was forming. The toaster was even more of a pain to toast an English muffin... over 15 min of cancel n reset to get a muffin partially toasted. one man just took his raw bagel n said "the heck w it".
if you're gonna offer free breakfast, let it be efficient.
la quinta uses a waffle maker that works
super fast... why not change to waffle makers???? way more efficient.
pool area way nice as was fitness center.
hardest part was finding this hotel on heavily traveled woodruff rd... not on the easiest location to access.
wud we stay here again, for 15,000 hard earned points, we would go to the new holiday inn express downtown Greenville or a regular holiday inn. More
