We found a great place under a big shade tree on edge of water. Although not recommended, the kids played in the shoals and had a great time. Rocks were a bit slippery, water temperature was fine. The Liberty bridge is a wonder in itself. Strolling upriver brings you to a water feature loaded with kids. Fun!

Be prepared to walk/hike to the place. Limited parking areas nearby. Also wayfaring is difficult as there are no maps of the paths or bridges and restroom facilities.

Beautiful park nestled in downtown Greenville, SC. Great sight for photos. Great trails for walking. 1.3 or so mile path connects this park to Cleveland Park- home of Greenville Zoo. Many benches and swings to enjoy the beauty of the falls.

A nice long or short walk depending on your route Scenic with nice views of the river and water falls and some enticing eating and drinking establishments for rest and refreshments as needed

A free attraction that's not to be missed! Great place for a walk in downtown Greenville. What a great job they did in redeveloping this park and the waterfalls. Plenty of places to sit, walk and take in the views. Right in downtown and FREE!

It's hard to walk past this park and not want to stop in. There are tons of families enjoying the grassy areas as well as the falls. Kids can hardly resist wading in the water - no matter what time of year! Grab a swinging bench and just people watch....
