“Very over priced”
Reviewed 6 June 2014

The building is beautiful and the location is perfect. Perhaps that is why they feel they can charge so much! The food was average and so was the service. Went in for an early dinner so the restaurant was not very crowded. Service took very long. The table side Caesar salad was so salty we barely ate any of it. My husband had to send his steak back to be cooked again. The waitress brought it back in about minute looking exactly the same. We did not even finish our meal, After reading all the other good reviews, perhaps we just went on a bad night. Will not go back to find out.

“Anniversary dinner”
Reviewed 3 June 2014

We sat outside because this restaurant has a really nice terrace next to a fountain. They have an extensive wine list and hit all price points. The service was excellent. We had the crab & shrimp dip which was excellent along with sea bass and brussel sprouts. When we told them why we were in town (30th anniversary), they treated us to 2 glasses of champagne and strawberry cheesecake which was beautifully decorated on the plate. Thanks Larkins.

“Great restaurant ”
Reviewed 30 May 2014 via mobile

Eight of us dined at Larkins prior to attending a play next door. Tremendous wait staff and atmosphere. Pricey, but worth every bit. If you like Caesar salad I would highly recommend the Caesar prepared at the table. 90th percentile of all Caesars. Steaks cooked perfectly as requested.

“Quality in Service, Food and Atmosphere”
Reviewed 28 May 2014

There may be "flashier" places in Greenville but my vote for best all-around experience is at Larkin's. The food is fantastic - their salmon makes me "ummm" out loud. Sitting outside is a hoot for people-watching and the inside is all dark and full of character, very romantic. If something's not right, they'll fix it but all in all, this is a very special place to eat.

“Beautiful Setting But...”
Reviewed 28 May 2014

Outdoor dining on the Reedy River across from the beautiful Peace Center. A great setting for sure. Unfortunately...we were disappointed.

We asked to be seated indoors which is equally as charming as outside however, what is it about hostesses that think it is ever enjoyable to be seated by the server station? Especially if there are 20 tables and only 2 are occupied? Seriously?

Rib Eye at $45.00 and a Filet Minion bone in at $53.00. Coming from NYC we are used to the price no problem. However...overall it did not meet our expectations.

We would try it again so don't count it out. It may have just been an off night.
