“Not Quite Italy, but very good.”
Reviewed 28 May 2014

We made reservations for our anniversary and sat outside. Having just returned from Italy some 6 weeks ago we had pretty high expectations. I had a Caprese salad and Paparadelle Bolognese and my wife had the ravioli. The salad was very good, and the pasta as well. Pretty well on par with our experience in Italy. However the attentiveness of the wait staff is average and really misses the opportunity to add a touch of Italy to the experience. If I want to eat Italian American I can do so elsewhere for much less. They don't seem to go the extra mile to make the experience authentic, and that is a shame. Inside is very noisy at times, so if you want a quiet dinner, request outside away from the sidewalk.

“Across From Peace Center”
Reviewed 15 May 2014

Excellent Italian food with a varied selection of veal, fish, pork and chicken dishes as specials. Smaller restaurant with a very attentive staff but a bit on the pricey side.
Very convenient to Peace Center as located across street and near crossover of Reedy River.

“Beautiful restaurant with great food”
Reviewed 30 April 2014

Down in Greenville on a cycling vacation and wanted to top up on some pasta. The restaurant is beautiful. The wines offered as a house wines delicious. Try the pastas. Especially try the Paparadelle Bolognese and the Mozzarella Caprese.

We have been going to Trattorio Giorgio for years and they never fail to satisfy. The service is very good and the food is alway excellent. Just make sure you have a reservation or you won't be able to get a table.

“Sorry to have to say, not a good experience!”
Reviewed 19 February 2014

We were told that this is one of the best restaurants in Greenville, so we were excited to try it out, however we would not recommend it or return.

The food was ok, but not exceptional. I had the Chicken with capers, garlic and lemon and it was very good, My husband had a Veal Chop and was not told of the price, so he was quite surprised when the bill arrive and his Veal was $40, plus the salad's were a la carte and again, good but not exceptional. We were never asked if we would like to order a bottle of wine, and our server was indifferent to us and our needs, so much so that we will never go back.
