One of the better courses I've played on. Lots of bunkers ans some water. Friendly staff and well appointed clubhouse. I would play here again.

The weather in December was perfect, almost 70 degrees and a slight breeze off the ocean. This course and clubhouse are well kept, the staff was welcoming and helpful. We had a 10:30 tee time and finished in under 4 hours. The course was almost empty on a weekday, providing an unhurried and very enjoyable round. The fairways are not so generous (wide), and trees line the roughs. I'd really enjoy going back.

I've been coming to Hilton Head since 1978, and since Oyster Reef opened it has been my favorite....just "fits my eye" - especially the Par 3s and 5s. This was my first Wintertime visit, and I thought condition was very acceptable and the greens putted very true; my big complaint is that the cart paths (we were playing 90-degree rule) have really gotten "long in the tooth", making for a back-stressing ride. Personnel - terrific - definitely make you feel welcome and seem to go out of their way to be friendly.

Solid golf course nothing to complain about. Course condition did not stand out but was certainly not bad either. Staff was friendly and pleasant. A plethora of holes carved through the pines kept my interest.

I played 5 rounds on Hilton Head this week. This was the pick of the litter. Even though the course had been over seeded and we could only "ride the rough", the course was fun to play and challenging. After playing the course on Saturday, I decided to replay the course again today. Very enjoyable round. Great staff. Will definitely play again.

We’re please that you enjoyed playing the course both days and that it met all of your expectations. Our staff wants to make everyone’s round memorable and give them a reason for wanting to play at Oyster Reef again. Rees Jones, the course designer, did a wonderful of winding the course through the Plantation and giving players a different look on each hole.
