the room we first stayed in had ants and the tub drain was clogged, moved to another room,...even worse and filthy,..third room was bearable, but that is all,, the staff, mostly the lazy housekeepers were the worse, no extras, but the bugs are free,....NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!

Room Tip: never stay here unless you don't mind bugs and filth..

First thing you notice walking in the room is the musty smell. We had an infestation of ants and we saw roaches too. outlets had no covers on them the bathroom door wouldn't close there was mold in the top the tile in the bathroom floor was disgusting. There was spackled on the mirror that nobody ever cleaned off...very very dirty...

Room Tip: There are no good rooms don't waste your time!

The filthy and smelly hot elevator with stained carpet was a sign of horrible things to come. Had to clean and sanitize the entire room before I could relax it was that bad. No stopper in tub. Toilet barely flushed. Drains slow. Just uncomfortabe. Then I saw next to the sink there was an ant infestation. Called the office she was totally nonchalant but did say I could move to another room because maintenance had left. She looked then said there was not even bug spray. I killed them with hot water. Within an hour the bedbugs came out. This time I did move. The second room was old dingy dirty and it was too late to pack up and leave. Couldn't sleep all night. Next morning went to the emergency room and was diagnosed with bed bug bites. Wouldn't send my worse enemy here. Front desk said they would tell the manager but no one contacted me yet. Slum lord I guess...

FInally, Diamond status with Choice Hotels! So far this year, 55 nights in Choice Hotels. When I got to the hotel, I was upgraded to a two room suite room 227. Upgraded or not the cost of paying for the upgrade is only 15.00 per night, 30% off deal, booking three days in advance and pay the difference. Take my advice it would have been well worth the extra money for the suite. My suite, checkout the pics, was great. It was, clean, and large with a full kitchen and wet bar. Two flat screen tv's, GREAT wifi and talk about a large pool, very. There is a bathroom at the pool, along with towels, tables, umbrellas and upgraded soft loungers. The pool is surrounded by trees making it feel very private.
There is a putting green and bikes for rent. Also there is an Applebee's attached to the property and you get 10% off for staying at the hotel. The beaches are at most a 3 to 4 minute drive. I usually do not mention specific people, but Sara was really nice to me. Stay here for modest cost and drive to Savannah. It is only 35 min away, and the drive is very nice. I like this property, and you will to.

Room Tip: Go for a Suite. You will appreciate the extra space.

This was the worst experience and the opposite of "Quality". We were very disappointed in the uncleanliness, and overall condition of the room. At the economy rate we paid, we were not expecting ***** stars, but, to have to deal with an ant colony, drains that do not drain with normal ease, peeling paint on bathroom door, a safe that is missing the lock, a obviously unsanitary, dirty bathroom, etc. was just not worth even half of what we paid for. We were very tempted to leave the facility. We will avoid any Quality Inn due to this unpleasant experience.

Ordered a King room on the 1st floor, was given a double. Even though I let them know we needed a pet room, it wasn't on the reservation so they had to give us a different room (still a double) up on the 3rd floor. If you travel with pets and can't physically handle stairs, you know . it's a challenge getting the pets in the elevator and out to the grassy area within their "hold-it" time frame. Went to the room they gave us & opened the door and found the room was already occupied. Went back down to the desk & told them, got another room (still on the 3rd floor) but it smelled of mildew so bad, couldn't handle it. Back down to the desk, clerk said no other pet rooms available, Manager happened to be there and gave us a "non-pet" room. Although it was still on the 3rd floor, not much of a musty smell. No cleaning was done the 3 days we were there. Only clean linens and toiletries provided. Except the last night we were staying, no toiletries or coffee supplies were provided for the next morning. Breakfast was very disappointing and sparse.

Called choice to make reservation, couldn't be located when we arrived. Wouldnt honor quoted rate. Defiently overpriced. Nothing special. In need of serious cleaning akin to an internal pressure washing. Furnishings were old and needed dusting. There were bugs, lots of them. We asked to change rooms even moved to a different floor. Bugs still present. Obviously they have an infestation. Breakfast was sparse and not enough staff or tables to accomodate guests. Noone was especially welcoming.
