We stayed at the Heritage Club in February, 2014. The unit we stayed in on the 4th floor was completely redone. It was quality in every aspect! We loved the unit and it was good because the weather was cold for a few days so we enjoyed staying in and fixing a home cooked meal instead of going out. It was just like home with all the comforts to go with it. We didn't get to use the heated pool or hot tub because of the weather but we could see the steam coming up from the water. The front desk staff, Wilma and Vera, made sure we had everything we needed, from golf tee times, to restaurant coupons and suggestions. They were both so nice and helpful. Check in was easy. A few of the activites were at the Harbour Club nearby. We would definitely stay again.

Room Tip: We stayed on the 4th floor but the place is quiet, so any room would be nice.

Heritage Club meets the usual Marriott standard for cleanliness and quality. While amenities are limited at the resort because it is small, several positive areas are worth mentioning such as the heated outdoor pool and hot tubs, grills, and friendly staff. We enjoyed golf, listed in order of our opinion of quality at Palmetto Hall Cupp Course, Oyster Reef, and Arthur Hills at Palmetto Hall. Highly recommend this exchange property, especially for golfers.

It doesn't get any better then this. Great accommodations, great service, Wilma (front desk) and Sondra ( or Sandra concierge) are awesome. Sondra called Sat b4 our trip and made all restaurant reservationss, called again our second day to see if we were satisfied w/ the accommodations and remind us of the reservations. She asked if the fireplace pilot had been lite and I told her it went out last nite- she contacted someone to fix it immediately and it was fixed when we returned from dinner. Wilma and Vera arranged all the golf T times and were so helpful. They are the BEST. The unit is very clean, nicely arranged with 2 master bedroom suites split and living room is cozy with galley kitchen over looking dinnette. This is a small resort with excellent service. We will be back next year!

From the moment I called Wilma at the front desk to let her know we had never been to HHI before and would be arriving well beyond the time the office would be open (yikes what do we do?), until we left. This place was beyond our reviews. Each unit is has 2 master suites w/whirlpool tubs. The kitchen was huge (even included pantry space where the stackable washer/dryer are located. The décor is absolutely beautiful, and they are even updating it all again (samples were in the lobby) but it didn't need it yet. Bed was incredibly comfortable, it truly had everything and more than we needed. Marriott has put out one of it's best vacation rentals in Heritage Club. I'm not sure why some have said it's very small. You can see from the picture it does not have a small feel at all. 2 hot tubs, pool was fabulous, and the new grilling area just awesome. It was so quite and a very quick walk to Harbour Town, no need to even cross a street. 10 free, and I mean 100% free rounds of golf were included with 4 course choices. The beach is about a 10 minute bike ride, or 5 minute car ride and you do not need to leave the Sea Pines Plantation area. It was our first time to HHI and we cannot wait to return.

Room Tip: Every unit is the same 2 master suites awesome balconies all overlook the pool area. In September it...

We stayed here the first week in August, 2013. Close to Harbour Town for restaurants and shops. Quaint trolley just across from hotel to beach. Rooms, big and clean (stayed with 7 adults). If you're looking for a "resort" hotel with pool bar, music, etc, this is not it. However, the pool is quiet and not crowded. There are plenty of activities at nearby Harbour Town. And, you cannot beat the ten FREE rounds of golf that come with the room. Once again, Marriott maintains it's consistency of a high class, vacation resort!

We came to Hilton Head primarily to bike and enjoy the natural beauty and great restaurants. Therefore the Heritage Club was great for us. It's well situated in the beautiful Sea Pines section of HH--where the bike trails are shaded by a wonderful canopy of pine trees. We didn't use our car for our entire stay and biked all over the island. You can also walk to shops, restaurants and the Lighthouse within Sea Pines. We actually enjoyed the fact that the property is small and the week that we were there it was practically empty---sweet! The weather was too cool to use the pool or hot tubs which did look inviting--maybe next time. The property itself is well maintained and very clean but a bit dated. It definitely could use a refurbishment. That said, the rooms are large and have all the comforts of home, including washer/dryer, dishwasher and lots of dishes, silverware, glassware etc. The balconies are nice, as are the two jetted tubs in the villas. There is even a gas fireplace for chilly nights. In this regard, Marriott does it right. You have just about everything you need to cook at "home" or entertain. Because this property is small, it doesn't have as much stuff for kids --like play areas, a rec room , children's pool etc. as a larger MVC property would--so it may not be the best for families with young kids. It's probably more geared for adults or older kids. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and would do it again without hesitation.

This is my favorite place to stay in Hilton Head! I have been going to Hilton Head for 20 years! Amazing. Well kept rooms. Beds are so comfortable! The bed rooms are big. The master room is great! The jacuzzi is great used every night. The living room and kitchen are wonderful and very nice! The pool is heated and nice. The location couldn't be better. It is right downtown Harbour town! Amazing would recommend to any one.
