Days Inn Hilton Head Island- We stayed 4 nights at this hotel. The pros – It seems right in the middle of the action (the beaches and the sights), they have a nice pool, rooms had good internet access, good selection of channels on TV, an air purifier in the room; a small continental breakfast, Hotel looks nice on the outside, seems quite safe. We had a nice view of the pools from the second floor. Price was pretty good, but not real cheap. I would stay here again for the same price. They have a person in the lobby that helps you out with your destination plans, concierge , tells you where the beaches are located. She was helpful.
Cons – Air condition came off and on, was warm at times and cooler at times, but hard to get it very cool in the room. The lobby and the halls had a bit of an odor (thus the air purifier in the room). It didn’t smell of smoke but a bit of an odor, not real strong. There were quite a few stains on the hall carpet. Beds were comfortable, three pillows to bed, pillows were OK quality, but not like Sleep Inn pillows.More
