There is a large bar that sits in the middle of an expansive dining room. We like to go on Thursday even for the half priced sushi. Not made by a Japanese Master Sushi chef but very good none the less. Also the bacon wrapped shrimp are hard to beat large scallops. The bartender has always been friendly and attentive, and we always seem to meet some friendly locals when we go.

If you object to cigarette smoke, watch out. They keep the doors open and the outside table smokers puff away and the smoke billows in. The night we went , they had a jazz band that was so loud, it was impossible to talk. The tiny tiny portion of food I got was smaller than any child's portion I have ever seen. The flounder tasted exactly like frozen fish sticks and the "sea " scallops were so small, maybe they sat next to a sea scallop. The hostess was rude and the waitress, although nice, was overworked so could never refill drinks or anything. After the food was delivered by someone else, we never saw her until we were finished. I would never ever go back to this place.

The "pick three" seafood items we chose, fried flounder, shrimp and oysters, were truly the best seafood in the Midlands area! The oysters were huge. Fried onion rings are also the best ever. The side of grits was very good. The She Crab Soup was good, but no where touched the soup served at Locklear’s in Mount Pleasant. I felt it needed a little more cream and a bit more touch of Sherry. Ryan R provided excellent and attentive service and very good food suggestions. Serving proportion to cost ratio was fair. I will drive the 30 miles to eat at this restaurant again.

Crab legs are cooked just right, come right out of shells and very "meaty".. and for $20 you get what looks like over a pound. I also particularly like the iceberg lettuce wedge with real blue cheese dressing. Great happy hour prices and outside patio dining.
