We enjoyed the Dockside so much, that during our week stay on IOP we ate there four times for breakfast. It was so convienent and close to where we were staying at in Wild Dunes, that we rode our bicycles there. The menu is small, but there are more than enough choices for everyone's palette. The portions were very generous, with you getting two sausage patties on a marvelous biscuit. You had your choice of sides to compliment the meal, i.e. fruit, grits, etc. They also have an omelette of day. The staff is very friendly at the deli. Some people may find it a little cumbersome for you having to take you meal ticket up to a register in the market and paying for it there. Our waiting time was minimal and by the time we finished paying, our food was ready. Overall a great place for breakfast.

Great view. Good service and food was good. Particularly enjoyed soups. Only a fair selection of seafood.

Food is great. Usually has live music. Get ther about an hour before sunset and get a table on the roof to watch the sun set and the charter boats come in. Just beautiful.

We biked over from Wild Dunes for breakfast one morning and ate at a picnic table outside on the porch where we could watch the boats leave from the marina. I had a breakfast burrito, which was very tasty, quite large, and a good value for $5.00. Everything is prepared to order. One of the cooks was very friendly, but one was a bit abrupt and didn't like it when we asked her about a boat tour we saw advertised at the marina. I would like to try lunch here sometime.

We had a conference of over 100 people at the hotel and resort. The Dockside wasn't ready on the first day at lunch as was slammed, big time. They kept their cool and kept up as best they could, never skipping a beat.

On day two, they were ready for us. They had pre-staged sandwiches, wraps, salads, etc. Our attendees were in and out in minutes. The food was excellent and the price fair. Service was perfect and with a smile (even when they were slammed on the first day). Great work!
