We initially were heading to another restaurant for breakfast, and couldn't find it, and ended up here. Thank God!!! We had fabulous food, great drinks and the staff was amazing!
Enjoyed it so much we went back the next day.
Menu is quite eclectic! Food is cooked to order and they don't mind if you ask for substitutions! WE LOVED IT!

Thank you so much! I am very happy to hear that you enjoyed not one, but two trips to Acme. As for substitutions, we feel that you have made the decision to spend your hard earned dollars with us and we should make sure you are getting exactly what you want! Hope to see y'all again in the future! Travel Safe!

After a sweltering day of touring Patriots Point, we decided not to dine in at Acme, but instead chose take out. We weren't aware of Acme's take out orders hours. It was 7ish when we called and the gentleman who took the call accommodated our order. We were pleased with the excellent customer service. We were even more delighted with the food. Our dishes consisted of flounder, clams, shrimp, mashed potatoes, asparagus, and chicken wings. Everything was fresh & tasty. We would have liked to have had the opportunity to dine in during our week at IOP but our schedule didn't permit. We highly recommend this restaurant.

I've been here five times in the last month for breakfast, because, uh, it's great! Our server the first time was exceptional and the others since have been good. The food is consistently pleasing. Flavorful and abundant. The potatoes are essentially fries which I could, and have, passed on since first trying them. I've had the shrimp and grits, good, the Benedict with the crab cakes which were alright and an omelette, eh. But I've discovered the secret to breakfast nirvana here... I order poached eggs, an English muffin, and their delicious homemade chorizo and stack my own benedicty type dish and it's divine! My breakfast buddy has feasted on fried chicken and biscuit mountain, the huevos rancheros and the special blueberry pancakes, all of which he loved. Their coffee is great but don't be surprised when you add cream that the color barely changes. It's a mystery. Eat here. Just do it.

We ordered the lobster and crab cakes with greens and butter beans. The lobster was very good, crab cakes okay (not as large as described), the greens were amazingly delicious (even my husband said said so and he never eats greens) and the butter beans were very good. Acme is a small restaurant so plan accordingly. The cost was $30 per plate.

What a fabulous place for a low country breakfast! Must have the isle of palms eggs Benedict with a Bloody Mary - and do not skip the grits they are fabulous! The entire experience was made perfect by the excellent attention given to is by Byron - make sure you ask for him if he's working - great for giving recommendations, keeping us happy the entire time. Can't wait to come back!
