“Good Lunch During the off Season”
Reviewed 9 December 2013

Arrived for lunch on a cold rainy day. Had the crab bites, seafood sandwich wrap, and grouper bites. Food was very good as was the server. Would go back.

“GREAT LOCATION BUT.....”
Reviewed 17 November 2013

We have eaten at Fibbers on many occasions over the past 4-5 years. We have always loved their location right on the Intercoastal Waterway. On a sunny day there is no better place to waste an afternoon watching the boats passing by and contemplating absolutely nothing of value.

Our most recent visit was OK but it was also a bit of a disappointment. Our food (we were a party of 4) was just ordinary. Everyone ordered something different and nothing was great or special. The usual perky and attentive service was not evident. We hope that it was just a bad day but I am concerned that the place may be just sitting back and resting on its usual good reputation.

Their location in Little River is a gem. We will go back to Fibbers again and we very much hope that our last visit with bland food and indifferent service was just a one-off. Otherwise, we know that there are other good places very close by where we can get what we need.

“Amazing seafood!”
Reviewed 2 November 2013

This place is not fancy but oh so delicious! We sat outside and had an awesome view of the river. Our server was extremely friendly and made suggestions and gave great descriptions of the food. We had prompt service and the seafood was hot and prepared just the way we like it.

“On the water”
Reviewed 30 October 2013

With blue skies and 73 degrees, a visit to Fibbers on the Water was on the agenda. We've eaten here many times but seem to have hit an off day. Dining along the Intracoastal with views of the salt marsh and gulls overhead is always a treat. Patio umbrellas help shade the noon day sun but our sandwiches were just okay - nothing to write home about or bring us back any time soon.
Seafood salad wrap was tasteless and watery. Reuben only had 2 thin and gristly pieces of corned beef - not the usual deli pile of meat. Sandwiches seemed quite overpriced compared to other places. This time of year is always tough without the usual summertime tourists so maybe that was the problem. Waitress was friendly and efficient, which was a redeeming plus.
