Stopped in for breakfast as we were leaving town and were surprised with creative breakfast sandwiches. The shrimp was very tasty in the sandwich and not at all what we would normally have for breakfast. The decor was a little tired but the food more than made up for it. Will come back and explore the dinner menu.

Whenever we want to take visitors out to dinner, knowing we want a good selection that includes fresh seafood, we head to Locklear's, and have for years. They never fail to impress. The food id delicious, servers friendly, and atmosphere pleasant. Fried shrimp are fantastic, as are the fried green tomatoes. Don't forget to save room for the chocolate torte!

Oh my. Was looking for a place to have brunch on our way out of town- planned to stop by Boulevard Diner but husband passed it. Saw this restaurant which did not look promising at all from the outside and is a little shabby inside but the service was great, the prices were cheap and the food delicious- I definitely recommend it!

I am so sad to see what has become of one of my favorite local restaurants. It has become shabby in there despite the fresh paint on the walls. Shabby booths, not entirely clean and food is really going down hill. Fried shrimp were fine, nothing special, french fries were super salty and the cold slaw was dripping in mayo. Gross. The cucumbers and greens on my salad were old and squishy. There must be no quality control over what the plates look like before they leave the kitchen. The menu is not creative, frankly they need a new chef. So boring and less than average. I had to request water 3 times and that was really annoying. The place was not busy. Overall the restaurant is kind of depressing and tired. The owners need to find another profession and the restaurant needs a big change, food wise and staff wise. Good by Locklear's.

While visiting relatives, we were invited to dinner. The restaurant was chosen by those relatives.
The food was good, but noting to write home about. In fact I can't remember what we ate. I think it was seafood. It wasn't very busy; and the waiter always seemed to be hovering. He actually commented on our conversation
