“A great respite”
Reviewed 24 August 2014

We were walking distance to the pier and enjoyed the cooler water breeze and some ship traffic. Sat on the benches and admired the new bridge. Also visited the sawgrass exhibit and learned a lot about the talent and time needed for the baskets and other items. They were expensive on the tag but relatively cheap when you consider all that went into them.

“Open air movie. What a fun event!”
Reviewed 23 August 2014

Lovely short grass. Fun movie, "The Princess Bride" Very nice bathroom facilities. Just a few venders, enough to offer food and drink. Swings for the little ones. Very reminiscent of the old drive ins. Great way to spend an evening in a community setting. I suggest Robinhood Men in Tights.

“Great Spot”
Reviewed 19 August 2014 via mobile

Very cool spot to take pictures and check out Charlestons skyline! I try to go there often and walk my dog around the area. Can walk or run the bridge and always a great sunset to take in.

“Great fishing and fun”
Reviewed 8 August 2014 via mobile

Our son loved to fish off this pier at dusk while we enjoyed the gorgeous sunset.
He caught a wide variety of fun little fish while some others caught bigger flounders and redfish. My daughter caught many blue crabs in the trap we purchased at the shop. There are rod rentals and ice cream at very reasonable prices and the staff were always helpful and cheerful. The pier has super clean bathrooms and swinging benches.
