“The Patriot Golf Course is a Gem”

Liked the course. Was in good shape and very playable. The views of Charleston and Ft. Sumpter are spectacular. A must play if in the area

“Good course”
Reviewed 1 September 2013 via mobile

This is a fun course to play. I typically play it when they have a seasonal special. The course itself is fairly open. The par 3 17th hole on the Charleston Harbour is worth the cost of the round by itself.

“Great golf experience at a reasonable price”
Reviewed 17 August 2013

Loved this course. Certainly not in the Wild Dunes or Kiawa class, but if you just want to play a really good golf course at a very reasonable price, I would recommend this one.

“Great Scenery, Nice Open Course”
Reviewed 16 August 2013

Four of us played 18 holes on an August Friday. The course was wet from previous days storms, so we had to keep our cart to the cart path.

First the negatives:
- No beer cart on the course
- No signs showing hole layout at the tee boxes
- Ranger pushed foursome to play through when there was no one was behind them
- Few ball washes and trash cans

Now the positives
- Fantastic scenery of the coast, boats, bridge
- Challenging, but not overly tight
- Price was reasonable at $42 plus cart
- Nice clubhouse and friendly staff
- Alligator and turtles on the 9th hole were interesting to watch

“Perfect”
Reviewed 29 July 2013

A challenge from the winds of the harbor, this links course brings in everything from water to the subtle undulations of their well-manicured greens. The price is right and the clubhouse and pro shop are very fine. There is a very good practice area. Friendly folks. Nice grill and plenty of parking.
#17 is one of the best par 3 holes in SC!
