Our family had a wonderful experience at Hampton in Murrells Inlet, SC. Excellent service and the breakfast was amazing. The staff were all extremely friendly and took care of any special requests we might have had. They truly went out of their way to make our stay an enjoyable one.
This is a truly beautiful Hampton! Honestly, the decor is what caused us to choose this location over others nearby. Since we were celebrating our anniversary, we wanted something a little nicer, but without paying any extra. This hotel did not disappoint. The hotel was beautifully decorated throughout, but still warm and inviting. The room was spacious and neat. The bed was clean, soft, and comfortable: No sandpaper sheets or nasty, highly-questionable bedspread. Everything was very white and clean, which allowed me to actually relax in the bed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was not amazing, but it was free and included a lot of options (all the typical Hampton breakfast offerings). Overall, we were very pleased with the hotel! It's no Ritz, but it really can't be beat for the money. It also would have been nice to be closer to the beach, but again, the price easily doubles to get on the water. And, if you're not right ON the water, being 15 minutes away really isn't much different than being 5 minutes away. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay and the accommodations.
If you are planning to travel to the coast in SC, book your stay at the Hampton Inn in Murrells Inlet. It is just off Rte. 17 and close to a number of attractions like Myrtle Beach theatres, Brook Green Gardens and Polly's island. The rooms offer the highest quality in decor - they are clean and quiet. Complimentary breakfast is awesome with enough items to satisfy any appetite. And don't forget coffee, tea or hot chocolate 24-7. I give it 5 stars (that being the highest I could give)
My friend and I decided to take a quick trip to the beach and wanted to stay in a place that was clean and quiet with a fresh atmosphere. We found all of that and more at this hotel. We had a problem with our stay due to one inconsiderate guest and the manager more than made up for the inconvenience with her kindness and willingness to listen and show concern for our situation. Linda is the best! Needless to say whenever we decide to take another trip to the area we will be staying at this hotel and hope that Linda is still there to make our stay a pleasant one.
Oh and I was able to get great sleep in the comfy bed.
I am looking forward to going back soon.
This was a really a great place to have a class reunion, for meet & greet, pool side gathering! Great Place to have your morning breakfast. This was one of the best times in my life, meeting my class mates at a place that had it all!!!
Bubba was so pleasant and helpful when we checked in. The hotel and the rooms are clean and fresh. The bed are so comfortable I overslept. The complimentary breakfast was good and all the staff my family encountered were very pleasant. We had a great stay abs will be staying there again.
